GUA exam results more private

With the update of Gujarat Ayurved University’s homepage the exam results are more private than the previous version. It used to be that anyone could go on to the site and see exactly what every single student had got for results. Not so much anymore though, since now you need to know the Course name, the Year of exam and the Seat number. I guess the seat number would be the most difficult thing to figure out for anyone who is not part of or knows the system.

However I wonder if the students really care about this change though. All the exam results are still posted on the wall outside the office for anyone to read. Still of course google will not go over there and index anything. What do you think? Is more privacy good? It feels like the natural answer would be yes. Personally though, having gotten used to the old system of no privacy, I really don’t mind any way. Or perhaps it is just because I’m done with exams and I’m anyhow not on those lists anymore.
